This new music player Droid 2 app allows you to personalize and stream your own music stations, view your friends’ profiles, and even watch for new and upcoming music events in your area. You can also stream music in the background while you use other apps. Last.FM also allows you to scrobble music from other applications onto your Last.fm account. Last.fm then looks at your music preferences in order to better personalize your Last.fm playlists. This application is fairly easy to use. You are able to favorite, dislike, or skip any song you would like. All you have to do is sign up for your free account, log in, and start personalizing your profile and music preferences. If you already have an online Last.fm account, you will be able to sync your online account to your phone automatically.

The touch navigation interface allows you to do virtually anything that you could do on their website on your mobile phone. You will find it extremely useful to be able to listen to your favorite music and discover hundreds of new songs on the go. The only drawbacks to this new Last.fm application is that it takes a little bit of time to buffer each song, and the app seems to shut down rather often. The Last.fm app has a slightly sluggish performance, but with with a bit of work the company should be able to work all of its kinks out. Overall, this Droid 2 app offers several unique features that are a must-have for any music lover.
